Halibut & Rockfish Charter

Enjoy a day of chasing Halibut and Rockfish in Seward, AK!

Early Season is April through June 5th. Every spring, our inland waters explode with an abundance of bait fish, which attracts schools of Alaskan Halibut, ranging in size from 10 pounds to 400 pounds. These Halibut rise from ocean depths of over 1000 feet to as little as 50 feet of water in search of bait as they begin their frenzied feast. Alaska Halibut are some of the finest athletes in the sea. With no body fat and pure muscle, these rod-straining fish can exhaust you by their brute strength as they fight you back to the bottom. We invite you to try your luck with the assistance of our highly trained crew, in landing these robust monsters. After June 15th these trips are for the fisherman who want to target HALIBUT only. We understand many customers are spending time on the beautiful Kenia river and have their fill of salmon for the season and are on the hunt for white meat to round off their Alaskan experience. That is why we offer Halibut-rockfish trips throughout the summer. Our Halibut only trips allow us to what we call “Hog Hunt” longer than other trips we offer. There becomes a time when we must fill out the rest of our halibut limits, and we are off to one of our finishing spots. Depending on whether we go East or West you can rest assured we are going to give it our best to catch you a fish of a lifetime.
