Taste of Seward is a self-guided walking food tour that combines local flavors, scenic waterfront views, public art, local history, wildlife viewing opportunities, shopping, photo opportunities, and authentic coastal Alaska charm.

Enjoy four featured tastings from four local restaurants while exploring Seward at your own pace. Complete the tour in a few hours or spend the day shopping, sightseeing, relaxing along the waterfront, and discovering the community between stops.

Between tastings, browse local shops, stroll the waterfront, discover public art, photograph iconic landmarks, watch for wildlife, and experience the places and stories that have shaped this historic coastal community for generations.

Along the way, you’ll discover the Seward Small Boat Harbor, the Benny Benson Memorial, local murals, the historic Van Gilder Hotel, Admiral the Alaskan Bear, and stories of Seward’s remarkable resilience following the 1964 Good Friday Earthquake.

Children 3 & Under — Free (Sharing with a Paying Adult)
